Winter brings fresh excitement, with Beech Mountain ski slopes less than 15 minutes away via the new Mountain Pass Road. Eagles Nest’s event calendar features year-round activities, festivals, and concerts for all ages.

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
  • Please note that to return home, guests must travel through Banner Elk and the front gate.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Policies and Rules

  • No smoking allowed.
  • Minimum age: 25 years. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests; however, there is an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests may attend; however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.

Fees and Payments

  • All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities.
  • This home is pet friendly, allowing one mature, crate-trained dog for an additional rent of $25 per night plus taxes.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • Firewood may be added by reaching out more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • Free parking is available onsite.
  • The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November–March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • All linens and towels are provided for your stay.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).

  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
  • Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are provided.

Other Critical Details

  • Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard from 7am–7pm Monday–Saturday.
  • Please note that to return home, guests must travel through Banner Elk and the front gate.
